Hezekiah is faced with a death sentence from God. His desperate prayer is answered and he is given an extra 15 years. The King tragically allows the Babylonians to see all the treasures of his kingdom. Isaiah predicts that the city will be sacked by the Babylonians. Hezekiah tragically does not appear to care for the generations that will be caught up in the exile.
