We have an active and vibrant kid’s ministry here at MBM. Our vision is to see kid’s lives transformed through Jesus Christ to the glory of God. Children are encouraged to know and love the Lord Jesus in a caring and safe environment. Children are welcomed and cared for by teams of trained volunteers.
We would love to see you and your family visit MBM Kids at an MBM *campus this Sunday. Join the fun where kids meet get to meet Jesus on their level!
Parents of infants may care for their child in the Parent’s Room. A television link-up to the main service is provided, as well as age-appropriate toys for infants.
Toddlers and Preschool
Teams of trained, female leaders lovingly teach our very youngest children. Children are encouraged to know and love the Lord Jesus through stories, craft and games in a friendly and caring atmosphere.
Children are encouraged to believe and trust in the Lord Jesus and to live for him. Children are taught through songs, stories, games, drama, craft and small group Bible discussions. School-aged children begin in church with their parents (there is a children’s talk at the beginning of each service), and then move out to their appropriate program. Teams of trained, male and female leaders lovingly teach these children.
*Kids church runs at Rooty Hill, South West Sydney and Parramatta during the each of the morning services.
Wednesday 9:30am (during school term)
Playtime is similar in format to a community Playgroup. MBM Playtimes are run by the members of MBM for children not yet at school. It’s a time when parents, grandparents and carers can come and enjoy a stimulating program of games, music, stories and craft with their child. It’s also a place where adults can meet other adults and gain support and encouragement, as well as build friendships.
July Holiday Club
July Holiday Club is run each year during the July school holidays. It aims to introduce school-age kids to God’s Son Jesus, so that may come to know, love and serve him.
The program runs Tuesday – Friday 9am till 12.30pm and includes a daily drama, singing, story time, small group time, as well as games, cooking, crafts and music/dance activities.
There is a special program each day for children in Years 4-6 called Survivor, where they form teams and complete daily challenges.
Club finishes on Friday evening with a BBQ and Family Fun Night (6-8pm). A great way to end the week!
