welcome home

there is a place here for you

When you first come to a church you can feel like you’re the only new person but you’re not alone! We welcome new people every week.

We are not your typical church. We are made up of all kinds of people: grandparents, teenagers, single parents, families, young adults; white collar, blue collar, no collar; people from over 70 different cultures; newcomers and those that have been part of our church family for decades.

Everyone who joins us makes us a better church!

You will be welcomed as you arrive and made to feel at home. We will print you a name tag. If you have kids, they will be checked in for their safety.

Our services go for a little over an hour. They include singing, an interview or a musical item, prayer, Lord's Supper, Bible readings and a clear Bible talk.

When you're new, you may like to just watch what happens at first. When you're ready, we'd love to meet you. You're very welcome to chat to our team at the 'New Here' flag after the service, to get to know us, over some refreshments.

We love working alongside you in giving your child the opportunity to know the God who made and loves them.

Kids church on Sundays, Playtime mid week and our July Holiday Club are some of the things kids enjoy at MBM. We take your child's safety very seriously and do our best to ensure that they are lovingly cared for. We carefully select all our staff and volunteers, ensuring they meet all legal requirements and are trained in safe ministry. Our leaders work in teams and are continually trained for their roles.

Our Youth Leaders are well-trained, enthusiastic and love to help those in years 6-12 learn about the Bible and what it means to follow Jesus.

MBM Youth meets every Friday at Rooty Hill during the school term. They also meet for G-teams (Bible study) on Sundays at various times and locations.

Our small groups are all about family doing life together in God’s Word. They aren’t meant to be a 2 hour weekly event. Instead, they’re all about being a family who know, care, speak and live out the transforming news of Jesus round the clock.

We want you to be in a group that works for you so we have many different sorts of groups all throughout the week and across Western Sydney. Your first step into a group takes place when you head along to Belonging.

said about belonging

  • “When we first decided to visit, I must say, we felt genuinely welcomed. Attending Belonging was particularly helpful. Our growth group made us feel loved and comfortable. I thank Jesus for providing a Gospel centred local church!”

  • "We were welcomed with warmth by everyday people. Morning tea has been a highlight, and not just the food, but the friendly and genuine people who gather from week to week. It can be hard to settle in to a new church, but MBM has made us feel included as we’ve attended Belonging and have now landed in a Growth Group."
