Ecclesiastes 9:1-12 answers the question 'How do I live the wise life, the better life?' A person needs to take a reality check and recognise that all people die, but Christians have a different hope to the rest and that delighting in God is the key to the wise life. This is seen climatically in the life, and person of Jesus who is wisdom for us and fulfils the life of Ecclesiastes 9, so we can delight in God.
