The Priests in Israel had the most important and yet the most dangerous job. They were responible for offering sacrifices for themselves and before the people and failure to fulfil God's requirements for sin resulted in death. Fortunately for us new covenant believers Jesus dealt with our sins so that we are now priests that have direct access to God and may approach him boldly.
