Ephesians concludes with the message to ‘stand firm’ in the face of spiritual battle. How will you stand firm putting the message of Ephesians in to practice in your life?

God cares how we live as families in the church. He calls children and parents to reflect the same love and obedience our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus have.

Living for Jesus in this world affects every aspect of life. Marriage is one of those areas. A godly marriage is only able to flourish when it mirrors the relationship God has with His people, the Church: A relationship of love, leadership, respect and submission.

Just as Jesus considered us more important than himself, he calls us to consider one another in the same way. No longer living for ourselves, like our old nature did, but sacrificially giving ourselves to others, for the benefit of the whole church, and the whole world.

God wants you to love your life more than you do! But what does that look like? And how do we make sure that we live life the way he intends?

Today we get to listen in to a prayer from Paul halfway through the book of Ephesians. We see what God wants for us. God can do more than we could ever ask for or imagine. We have a tendency to limit what God can do by the limitations of our imagination or experience. But he can do it. He can do far more. We must not limit God.

Christ has united cultures of all backgrounds, to God and each other, through his death in our place. By fulfilling and superseding the law, there is now only one way to God; through Jesus.

There are many famous walls in the world which visually represent the division of hostility between countries, people groups and even religions. Today we are going to look at the work God did in his son Jesus to tear down the wall of hostility between all peoples and how this is on display not only before a watching world but also in the heavenly realms.

Singing is an essential part of the Christian Faith. Nate unpacks why it is essential for us to sing in church. It not only brings praise to God but serves others in our community and helps us collectively fix our eyes on Jesus.

We can only find life and a new relationship with God through the grace of God that is shown to us in Jesus. As a result, no matter who we are or where we have come from we all now come to God on the very same basis, as part of the one new humanity that Jesus has formed.

You cannot love Jesus unless you love his church. The church is his body and his bride, so to ignore the church is to ignore Christ and to love the church is to love Jesus.

Is your life making a difference? The answer to that depends on how aligned you are to God’s overall purpose for the universe that He is bringing in through His Son.

Christ came to bring peace not just between us and God but between Jew and Non Jew and whatever other walls of hostility we build.

After Christ died and rose again he disarmed Satan and is now ruling, pouring out his gifts on the church. The church is built up as each part does its work.

As Christians who are raised with Christ in the heavenly realms we engage in a struggle against demonic spirits from the vantage point of victory. We are alert but not alarmed strong in the power and armour of God.

Why didn’t God only create those who will be saved and place them in the new creation.
We by-pass Hell, Human suffering and most of all Jesus having to go to the cross. The core assumption is that we are wiser than God.

We discover that our relationship with our Lord reaches back before time and stretches forward into eternity.
