After hitting a dead end, the writer of Ecclesiastes now pursues the path of wisdom as the key to unlocking life under the sun. However, he can’t help but point us in the direction of the one who can and does have the ultimate answers.

God has also placed eternity in every human heart then satisfied that longing by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

If work is dignified why is it that by Monday morning we have Friday on our minds.

If the theme of Ecclesiastes has been everything is meaningless under the sun the conclusion of the matter is the Fear of God. With a child like fear all we do in Christ is remembered, recorded, reviewed, rewarded rebounding to God`s glory for all eternity.

Wisdom in a broken world see that life is marked with danger and where the words of the fool are many. But those in Christ have the wisdom of the gracious message of Jesus making them the wisest people on the face of the earth.

Wealth and Work are both gifts from God and are to be enjoyed on his terms. However, if they define who we are then they will not satisfy. In fact God will deny us pleasure and they prove to be utterly meaningless.

Ecclesiastes 3 is about The Tyranny of Time.
Each of us live within different seasons.
Life swings from one to another.
A time to laugh and a time to cry.
And yet our heart is ready to break out.
We are hungry for eternity.
