Imagine going from 0 to 5 kids in 18 months. That sounds like a whole lot of stress and sleep deprivation. As much as those things have been true for Steve and Bec, they are overwhelmed in thankfulness as they take great joy and delight in God’s gift to them. God took them on a long, and often painful journey that involved infertility, fostering and finally biological twins. But along the way, they’ve seen God’s faithfulness appear again and again.

When Jesus said in Matthew 28:18 Go and make disciples of all nations, he was dead serious. In today’s episode, we hear of how people throughout Jean's life have taken that seriously. Firstly the missionaries that loved her and shared Jesus with her while she was in University in Thailand and more recently another woman from MBM. In Western countries, people are living longer and spending more years of their life with an age-related disability like hearing or vision loss. The average person in a Western country will actually spend between 8-20 years of their life with some kind of disability. But despite that, disability is still treated like a marginal issue and not something that impacts everyone. Churches are no different which is why Louise Gosbell has become so passionate about this issue after being impacted by this in a personal way many years ago.
