In Luke 17:20-37 the kingdom of God is on everyone’s lips. Jesus teaches both the Pharisees and his disciples that make no mistake, the kingdom will come. Jesus will return. That much is a certainty. It’s exact date, however, remains a mystery. Along the way we learn about the nature of the kingdom, the appearance of the kingdom and how to live in light of the kingdom’s return.
