Thomas is an ultra modern man who will only believe unless he not only sees the resurrected Jesus with his eyes, but pokes his finger in the nail wounds of Jesus and thrust his hand where the spear pierced hid side. Then from the greatest doubter comes the greatest statement of faith, 'My Lord and My God!' Jesus is both alive and well and ruling the universe.
