Jesus is both rude and right. He has managed to call the host a hypocrite, who invited the wrong people while attacking the guest for sitting in the wrong seats.
The challenge is clear. He exalts those who are humble and humbles those who exalt themselves.
Finally for those who call Jesus king he expects our social relationships to reflect the grace of God.
