Why didn’t God only create those who will be saved and place them in the new creation.
We by-pass Hell, Human suffering and most of all Jesus having to go to the cross. The core assumption is that we are wiser than God.

Psalm 23 is not just for the dying but for the living. This is a very personal psalm where God is the Shepherd of his sheep who watches over all their life from green pastures to dark valleys, from banquets to battlefields. It is clear that God is not a means to an end but he is the end.

Jesus knows that we worry. That’s why he tackles it head on in the middle of his most famous sermon - the Sermon of the Mount. Jesus offers a better way to live so that children of the Heavenly Father would not worry, but instead seek first God’s kingdom.

At the core of our anxiety is a deep fear that no one is in control of my life and this world. The good news is that there is not a time, place or situation where God is not working in all things for the good of those who love him.
