MBM Vision

To see lives transformed through Jesus Christ to the glory of God.

MBM Mission

To disciple all nations in the multicultural west of Sydney and establish them as active partners in the church of God. We aspire to be a healthy church that makes Jesus look attractive. God is concerned with both faithfulness and fruitfulness.

MBM Goals

By God’s Grace, we desire to:

Grow MBM in both quality and quantity (1,500 each Sunday at Rooty Hill, 500 at South West)

Make 1,000 new disciples from amongst the nations of Sydney’s West

Strengthen other churches & their leaders in the wider church in Western Sydney

God's Purposes

Our task is to present the members of MBM to Christ on the day of judgment holy and blameless. As a result we want to be a church driven by God’s purposes as revealed in Scripture. We know there are many different and legitimate ways of structuring church ministry. However, we feel that the following 5 purposes helpfully summarise God’s purpose for His people here at MBM.

Magnification

To glorify God in all that we do and to love and delight in him forever.

Mission

To love the world by first and foremost proclaiming the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and secondly, by doing good to all - individually and corporately, locally and globally.
Matthew 28:18-20; Matthew 25:37-40



Membership

To love and belong to the MBM community.
1 John 4:19-21; Romans 12:10



Maturity

To grow as disciples in our love and knowledge of God to be more like Jesus.
Romans 8:29; Ephesians 4:11-16

To identify, equip and unleash people for works of service.
