Jesus the light of the world does not come unannounced into this dark world. John testifies that Jesus is the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. That witness could only happen once the Spirit descended on Jesus at his Baptism.

Jesus is the light of the world that shined at creation, in Israel and when the word became flesh.
Those who received that light became children of God.

God wants to be known. The Word who is Jesus the Son is with God and is God.
God wants us to know him.

In our search for meaning there is a season for everything - good and bad.
God has also placed eternity in every human heart then satisfied that longing by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Before the Teacher of Ecclesiastes gives the right answers to the meaning of life he wants you to know the wrong answers and how each one leads to dead end.
