Bible Talks from Leviticus

Blessings and Curses

Preached on November 24, 2012
Speaker:
Bible Text: Leviticus 26:1-13

A general principle in life is that we reap what we sow, but that is not always the case in this fallen world. The hope that we have is that all the blessings that are promised in the scriptures will come to fruition in the new heavens and the new earth. But the same is truth for those who have not turned to Jesus, the curse of everlasting punishment.

Day of Atonement

Preached on November 3, 2012
Speaker:
Bible Text: Leviticus 16:1-10

Sin is a big deal to God. Sin is so important to God, yet it is so unimportant to us. We see just how important dealing with sin is to God with the day of Atonement. Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice and demostration of God dealing with our sins and providing forgiven.

Clean and Unclean

Preached on October 27, 2012
Speaker:
Bible Text: Leviticus 11:41-47

God had marked certain things as unclean and if man had contact with these things it would make them unclean. This was done so that God's people would be set apart, it was a sign of them identifying with God. Because of the greatness of Jesus there is no longer a distinction between clean and unclean, but all are Holy in Him.
